T-Rex 600 Nitro Pro - photos and setup tips
Cyclic Servos are the Futaba 9351, Throttle is a 9252
Notice the throttle linkage at the 50% position. Futaba Gv-1 Governor
Mounting and adjusting the governor sensor can be a little tricky in this model
but
once complete it will not need to be re-adjusted
Right front view shows how easy it is to get a nice and neat radio gear setup
The supplied Velcro and the Velcro straps work very well to mount the radio gear
components
Futaba GY611 the servo horn length should be about 13-14mm, limits in the gyro
are at 100%
Gain is a little lower on this machine at about 30-32%
I've mounted the Gyro up front on the servos (Align will soon release the front
mount)
The gyro works fine in this location and the mounting tape lasts longer because
exhaust oil can't reach it
The rear servo wire needs to be routed to avoid conflicting with the bell-crank
here is one way to do it
Not visible in the photo is the fuel tubing over the wire to prevent the wire
from wearing against the edge of the frame
Also note that the clunk tubing inside the tank will need to be changed
occasionally
If you have trouble with the fuel tank rubber stopper simply flip it around so
the larger
side of the rubber is facing the outside of the tank this can make and oily
re-install much easier
